Welcome to an overview of the
History of Australian Rock-n-Roll. It starts around 1956 and
leaves off in the mid 60's when some structure had been achieved and
managements had started to control the industry. Previously it had been
totally motivated by emotions and a pure love of the then 'new' music.
Profits up to the mid 60's were
measured in fun times, rather than money, which was and still is, to
its detrement, the major driving force of today's Australian popular
CDs and other memorabillia can be purchased
at both these locations
either by Secure On-Line credit card transacation or Tel/Fax/Mail Order.
The Starlite publication of 'The Roots of Australian Rock-n-Roll
will be released as a DVD in 2003
to coincide with the 45th Anniversary of Australia's music industry...
